10th Anniversary of 9/11

This 11 September, 2011 marks the 10th anniversary of 9/11. Ten years before, it was on 11 September 2001, two planes which were hijacked by the terrorists belonging to the Al-Qaeda group intentionally crashed into the Twin Towers at the WTC (World Trade Centre) in New York City. More than 3000 people belonging to different countries lost their life in that huge attack.

The Twin Towers were the mascot of New York city and it became a memory after that tragic incident. The unfortunate thing was the terrorists hijacked four American flights to destroy peace of America. Of the four flights hijacked, the American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 were crashed into the twin towers, American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon and the fourth plane United Airlines Flight 93 crashed in a field in Pennsylvania.

Since then the country has been strongly fighting against the terrorism and it took more than 9 years to destroy the master brain, Osama Bin Laden, behind this tragic attack. Now everyone is believing that the citizens belonging to United States became so strong to face any kind of adversities.
