A Father’s Day note

A Father’s Day note

I was so surprised when my 7 year old daughter handed over a small gift pack to her dad immediately after she came out of the bed and wished him Happy Father’s Day. The small pack had a small note in it. It was nothing but I Love you Kicho (Kicho is the word for dad to her since she started speaking) and both of us felt so proud of her.

It is a matter of concern today, especially when we are marking Fathers’ Day today. How much time are you spending with your kid? Being a father, it is your obligation to devote your time with them as much as they want. The time can be spend for involving in their day to day activities like playing, feeding them, helping them to do their homework, taking them out, etc..

There is a common problem every where in the world. There are two kinds of fathers.  First, fathers staying at home on daily basis  and second, fathers staying far away from home due to many reasons. The influence of these two kinds of fathers on their kids are totally different and kids are more attached to the first category of fathers.

I lost my father 2 years before and on many occasions, missing him a lot. More than a father, he was a very good friend of mine. I love you dad.
