BJP, Congress and the common citizens of India

The recent revelation of scams, parliament hijacking by the BJP, Congress sticking to be stubborn and all the dramas going on does make a common man to think about his rights and the tax payers money.

Every day, either of the party spokesperson comes up with some nasty allegations and comments and rebuts to the previous press release of the other party. The media giving all the possible importance to these non-sense. These events are really shameful and shows the seriousness in what our leaders and political parties are doing for the people of the their country who have voted them to these posts.

I do not have any soft corner to any political parties but do appreciate every leader who does good for the country and do the needful for the people who voted him/her to be their representative. Revelation of scams which shows shocking numbers really worries every citizen of this country and realizes the mistake that they have made. What happens to these scams? Takes years to identify and punish the culprits and by the time a verdict is pronounced by our tortoise judicial system the culprit lives a comfortable life.

Why do these scams happen? Don’t we have proper system to keep a check on these decision makers? Why is our system so weak that most of these criminals feel safe to do such nasty things? Hard earned money which is paid as tax by the citizens of India are looted by or so called leaders / ministers. When a scam comes out, the political party talks about the scams by their opposition party as defense.

Recent Scams in India

1. Lalit Modi – IPL Scam – He is living a great life in London self promoting with interviews streamed on YouTube
2. Suresh Kalmadi – Commonwealth Scam – Living freely, go sufficient time to do what he wanted to – Still investigation going on, hopefully we will think about this only when we hear about the next commonwealth games
3. Adarsh Society Scam – Including our most respected Defense personnel getting involved with our corrupt politicians
4. 2G Spectrum Scam and if we go in depth, every day we can see some scams
5. Mayawathi building her own statues at the cost of the public money – Does she has the right to be the Chief minister of a state?

I feel these politicians should be more watched like any possible suspects and make our system more transparent and fool proof. We need to grade our national political parties according to he corruptions and scams rather than their achievements.

Dear great leaders of India, we are tired of listening to your press conferences and explanations. Stop the blame games, do some work, you are there with some responsibility to serve the people of the country and if you think you can continue defending your fellow party men, then we may need to elect beggars to the parliament who can do much better than you leaders.
