Blackberry Service in Maldives by Wataniya Telecoms

There are two telecom service providers in Maldives, Dhiraagu and Wataniya. Dhiraagu is much larger in terms of services and customers, but the credit goes to Wataniya to introduce the much anticipated Blackberry service in Maldives. I was expecting this to come first from Dhiraagu, the number one telecom company in Maldives, but Wataniya took to credit to introduce it in Maldives.

Blackberry is a service from RIM (Research in Motion)

BlackBerry is a line of mobile e-mail and smartphone devices developed and designed by Canadian company Research In Motion (RIM) since 1999.
BlackBerry phones function as a personal digital assistant and portable media player. They are primarily known for their ability to send and receive (push) Internet e-mail wherever mobile network service coverage is present, or through Wi-Fi connectivity. They support a large array of instant messaging features, including BlackBerry Messenger.

Blackberry Services from Wataniya was inaugurated by the Vice President of India last week in an official function
