Developing Apps for iPhone / iPad

Many of us are using iPhone / iPad for sometime, but never thought about how these applications are developed, but if you are a developer, you should have defintely had a thought of writing your own applications.

Xcode 4 is the latest tool that you would need to start writing an iPhone application. You will also need a MAC machine. If you need to test your application on your device, you will need to register as an Apple developer and it would cost your US$ 99 for one year. I would say, its worth if you are planning to develop iPhone / iPad apps, you can run those apps on your devices by registering it. I have already done that and I will be doing a detailed post on this very soon. When you see the code for the first time, you may get confused or even disappointed and get back, but my advice would be to read some books, tutorials.

XCode 4 has some new great features and you would love to check it out if you have not updated your XCode to the latest version. If you are a developer and have worked with Java and have some idea what Object Oriented Programming is, then you should give it a try to develop iOS applications. I will be posting my learning process in this blog, so please stay tuned in.
