How to get your google adsense account banned

Stupid question, but its very simple, go and click on your own ads. Yes your account will be terminated and you will lose all your earnings in a day if you are near your minimum payout. You will receive an email from adsense, asking for explanation. You can give some lame excuse or try to send your server logs, may be you will be blessed with another chance.

I have my experience of my adsense account being canceled due to click fraud, but believe me, I never clicked on my ads.

The first warning I received was regarding the domains I used for my adsense accounts. I was using on this domain, googling.in, which they objected as this domain name may mislead others that this has some relation with google. In fact we should read all the pages of google adsense terms and conditions or any program we participate. It was very clearly mentioned in the terms and condition that the domains having resemblance to google cannot participate in the adsense program. I did not read that but luckily I just received a warning. I got my account canceled when my account balance was about US$90.00, thats what really upset me.

Anyway it was not big earning, because it was about 4 months. Looking into the band-width and space its not much for me. But I see many people saying they earn more than US$ 2000 per month, thats worth. But for new websites, its very difficult to earn in 100′s and 1000′s of $$.

There are many people who succeed in fooling and get away with artificial clicks, but beware, you will be cought very soon if you continue with this. Google claims that they want to protect the interest of their advertisers and I am also one of the advertisers. Its very easy to build traffic to your sites with google adwords, and I have experienced it. You can get clicks from US$ 0.05 to your wish.

Other than text ads, you can put other image ads, or video ads. You can use the search also to earn. Anyway, be sure that you use adsense in a very careful way and never ever try to be smarter than google team. Its not because I lost my adsense account, i have read many posts done by angry google adsense account losers. Many might even have to close there websites as they totally depended on this ads.

Do you know any substitute for Google adsense?

Yes there are many, like Yahoo publishers, bidvertisers, clicksor and many, but believe me I have tried almost all except YP, it can never come near Google Adsense. I am waiting for YP to be International, as right now they are only offering it in the United States.

Recently I contacted Google Adsense to reconsider my account cancellation, but hard luck did not get an auto-response also from them.

I am not much worried and not much interested also, because even If i get my account activated, I need be always expecting an account cancellation and I am sure that will be when my balance reaches the next US$100.

Some Google Adsense Substitutes, that you can try

  • Bidvertiser
  • AdsFor Indians
  • Yahoo Publishers
  • Clickbooth
  • Adbrite
  • Clicksor
  • Azoogle ads

Beside click frauds doing the wrong things in the adsense and other forms of advertisements, whether intentionally or unintentionally, will result in a penalty, may get you banned and even have your adsense account terminated.

Please avoid this things or your adsense account will be terminated.

Don’t Make Same content for multiple domain
    Don’t Use Hidden texts
    Be Carefull with Page cloaking
    Page rank for sale
Wacth your submission and automatic submittion
Submitting multiple copies of your domain and pages is another thing to stay away from.
    Link farms
Link farming has always been a bad thing in the eyes of search engines, especially Google.
There are some wrong things maybe can cause your adsense account terminated even when you very very very avoid click frauds.

@saurabh, try by sending an email to Google Adsense team, if you are lucky, you may get back your account, but if you have done some clicks on your ads, then I don’t think there is any possibility to get your account back. Bidvertiser will never give the earnings what Google Adsense gives. You can try some other PPC programs

    Hi Kishore,

here’s another AdSense alternative: Oxado ( http://www.oxado.com/?origin=pub189975 ). Since it’s not in your list, maybe you don’t know about it yet. Just like Google, Oxado offers contextual advertising. It’s quite good – perhaps you might want to try them sometime.

I just got my Adsense account banned when my balance inched closer to $100, it was $99.54. Can you believe that they let the click-frauds go unnoticed until it comes to the payout time? Crazy that they want to work with the Advertisers (understandable, they get paid from them) but not with the Publishers (they take their share from Pubs as well).

“Don’t be evil” is fading very quickly and there should be a tough competition for this Google craziness. Why don’t they let the publishers know that they are noticing some sort of click-frauds (or whatever that is) so that the publishers can take some action (temporarily not displaying the ads or something). Can’t those Google crazies realize that anyone can bring anyone’s Adsense account to its kneels by simulating a click-fraud? In that case why don’t they work with the publishers to help them take actions on these instances.

I’m sure, any publisher will agree that if there are click-frauds they can let those earnings from those click-frauds be deducted from their earnings. Of course, there are some publishers who go for quick bucks but most of the publishers, I’m sure, are trying to stay legitimate. It’s Google’s agressiveness that’s bringing people’s business/earnings down.

Yahoo, Microsoft – wake up and give these Google crazies a competition that they understand the real meaning of “Don’t be evil”.

In the event of getting banned from Adsense crap, can a person use another Adsense ID (wife’s, husband’s, son’s, daughter’s etc.) to publish to those websites? Will they ban the other Adsense ID as well?

What happens is that Google will go for a final audit before releasing the payment. This happens very often and they will not bother to even reply to you if you want to explain, but there are instances that they may re-activate your account. You can use any of your friends adsense account if your site is not banned, but you are not allowed to sign-up for another account with same name and address.

      Reply

      • Shah

Whatever the final audit thing is…they should take the responsibility to notify the publishers for these invalid activities and if this continued to happen even after couple of warnings then they should take action by banning the site or account.

Instead, they show their evil attitude by just banning an account all of a sudden. There are empires that collapsed because of these evil attitude and if Google continues to do this I’m sure they’ll soon be history. This kind of attitude to not work with the publishers made me to look for alternatives for even the search engine and so far I’m feeling comfortable with Live.com. If I don’y hear from them (arrogance) in the next couple of days I’ll pull out all my Adwords account with them and will stop using their services and should advocate others of this evil attitude.

My question was, let’s say a couple living together had 2 Adsense accounts, one for each, and was using one of the account on their websites. Google’s evil attitude took one of the account off. But the other account (which is of the different name but with the same address) remains valid. Can one use the other account on the websites they blocked the other account from? Will they find out and ban the other account as well?

    I have many questions-
    1) My account for adsense was banned 3 years back for fraud clicks. Can I get google adsense account on name of my other partners.
    2) Can you please explain it is account banned or site banned. What is meaning of site banned and how can I check if it is site banned or account banned.
    3) If I sell my website to some one can he use google ads on this website.
    4) I’m planning to buy some new domains, should I check if it was used earlier for google adsense and they ever banned this.

Please reply as soon as possible.

    Thanks

Ranu – As far as I know
      1. You can get an account in your partners name
      2. Site can be banned and account can be banned. If site is banned, you will still be able to use the account on other sites, but if account is banned, you lose all the earnings and you cannot use google adsense any more. You should be receiving an email by Google Adsense Team.
      3. If you sell a site which is banned by Google Adsense, then that person won’t be able to use Google Ads
      4. Yes that would be right

I have just filed a lawsuite against Google in the UK. There is a special court track for small claims (up to £5,000 or less). I am very keen to see the outcome of this. I have clearly stated that I am willing to accept the reinstatment of my account in return for not continuing with my lawsuit.
