IIJW 2012 is Kick Starting Today
The Third Edition of India International Jewellery Week 2012 will be held at the Grand Hyatt, Santa Cruz (East), Mumbai from 19th August to 23rd August, 2012. The event is hosted by The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) to promote India as the innovation and designs destination for jewellery. The IIJW will last for 5 days. The first four days will be for showcasing collections from designers and design houses, the best of all participants of the Week will be showcased on the fifth day.
Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor is the brand ambassador for the GJEPC. IIJW is the best platform to existing designers as well as newcomers to show their craftsmanship in jewellery designing. Most of the famous jewellery brands in India will be participating in the show and this year’s participants includes Gitanjali Gems, Eekani Jewels, Laxmi Jewellery, Dwarkadas Chandumal, Amrapali Jewels, Gehna Jewellers, Dynamic International (HK) (Malpani), Agni Jewels, Anmol Jewellers, Ganjam, YS 18, Cappuccino Collection, Kays Jewels, Infinity Creations – Japan, Raksha Enterprises, D. Navinchandra, Jewels Emporium, Kashi Jewellers, KGK Entice, Birdichand Ghanshyamdas, Jaipur Jewellery Show etc. In addition to the jewellery brands, designers such as Tanvi Garg, Dipti Amisha, Preeti Jain, Farah Khan, Zeenat Desai (US) and well known institutes such as GIA, IGI promoting their young talents.
