Hopes for the iPhone 5 has ended for the time being, but when will we be able to update our existing iOS devices like the iPhone 4, iPhone 3G, etc. For sure, the iPhone 4S would be with the iOS 5 and the released date for the iPhone 4S is on the 14th of October.
As per reliable sources, the iOS 5 update through iTunes would be on the 12th of October and we have seen the final beta version already released to the developers. This update would be free and would not be an OTA update, but all the future updates would be over the air update.
