Is India means ‘slums’?

About one month before this post I proudly wrote about the moments of Oscar red carpet. I still don’t know the reasons for thinking like this – Indians have won Oscar for many reasons but white skins are thinking that India means Mumbai and Mumbai means slums. Even though the India is able survive the great so called recession through its growing or developing economic infrastructure over the other developed countries, still our country is classified in the category of slums only. Is it fair enough to present the murky side of India to the world through one of the mass appealing media like Cinema?
