Lion Update – Mouse and Trackpad behaving opposite

by Kishore on July 27, 2011

I updated my Mac Book Pro two days back to Mac OS X Lion 10.7 and have been using it till then. One very annoying thing I faced was the default behavior of the mouse and trackpad scrolling. The page by scrolling just the opposite way by default compared to the way it was before the upgrade.

How to set this right ?

Go to the settings and select mouse for the mouse behavior and trackpad if you want to set the trackpad behavior.

When you click on the mouse, you will have the options shown below

Uncheck the first option and see how it works ? This should put pack the scroll behavior of the mouse and in the same way you can set the trackpad to behave the way you want to.
