Lunch at Authana Restaurant in Shree Guru Residency Mysore
Authana Non-A/C and Authana Deluxe are located in two different blocks of the Shree Guru Residency.
I had my lunch from Authana Veg non-A/C restaurant yesterday and I felt very good about the food, the ambience, and the staff service. Being a South Indian, I prefer to have rice as my lunch and I always end up in South Indian Thali. Authana offers two types of Thali. One is simple and the other is Executive. I ordered for both to find out the differences. Executive Thali meals start with a soup and wind up with banana and Ice-cream which were not part of the ordinary Thali meals. When Ordinary Thali is available for Rs.70/- you have to spend another Rs.30/- for enjoying the starter and the dessert.
The Thali items are almost same in every place and here the exemption is unlimited number of poori (fried wheat bread) and a small bowl of vegetable rice along with the regular plain rice. I saw many foreign tourists were seated along with the regular Desis (local) and enjoying the Thali meals.
