A gang of four hit a man with a two-wheeler, threw him to the ground and then repeatedly kicked him and hit him with stones till he died on a busy road in Coimbatore. The incident took place very close to a police station, so that a police Close Circuit TV (CCTV) camera captured the entire incident. This leads to the arrest of four member gang. The man was killed in front of many passersby but no one came forward to rescue him. Scores of people on two-wheelers and other vehicles stood by and watched. Those in a hurry, even drove away.

Police said the gang members, who were reportedly drunk, had a quarrel with the victim, identified as a painter, Santosh, at a bar. They then attacked him and no one came forward to rescue him. The police reportedly took Santosh to a hospital half an hour after the brawl, but he was declared brought dead.

The man is identified as Santosh, 29 years old, who was working as a painter in a bar.  He was survived with his wife, a small kid and old parents.

The incident is an eye opener to everyone that how insensitive are we. If any one has made an attempt to rescue him, that poor soul could have been saved.

Mohanakrishnan kidnap case was a good decision by Police… But I guess, after that they are sleeping and Roaming for name sake.
If crime rate increases in Mid City, the ppl in remote areas will be of Fear.
Are we pulling CBE’s moral name Down???

According to be the punishment should be severe and must be known to everyone, so that gunda’s will have lil fear over Police force.
