Mutalik is in police custody

RHS chief, Mutalik, is taken into preventive custody by the police following pressures from the various quarters. In Bangalore, police beefed up the security and vigil to control moral policing  near cards and gift shops, pubs, restaurants and colleges.
The RHS threat to disrupt Valentine’s Day celebrations by swooping down on boys and girls seen together had led to the national outrage prompting the government to get into the action of Mulatilk’s arrest to ensure the V- day passes off peacefully.
