Najmat Taiba, the world’s largest gold ring
Najmat Taiba or the Star of Taiba is, the world’s biggest gold ring, currently on display at Dubai’s Kranz Jewellery. This largest gold ring cost around $547,000 to make 11 years ago in 2000 when the gold cost was $250 per ounce. Now this ring cost $3 million since the gold price has gone up in the market to $1500 per ounce.
This heavy ring is the property of Saudi Arabian jewellery maker Taiba. The gross weight of the ring is 63.856 kg which contains about 58.7 kg of 21k gold and 5.1 kg of crystal stones.
The Najmat Taiba comes with its own Guinness Book of World Records Certificate.
