India is getting ready to face the Tablet wars in this June with the launching of the Tablets PlayBook, Xoom and Flyer. The three gadget makers, Research in Motion (RIM), HTC and Motorola and they expect their products to compete with the already launched Apple’s iPad 2.
The main attractions of the Blackberry PlayBook are its 7 inch display, 3 megapixel camera at the front and 5 megapixel at the back. Xoom comes with 2 megapixel front-facing camera for video calls and a 5 megapixel rear shooter,HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) port and USB port. Motorola claims that Xoom is the first tablet to come fully equipped with 4G LTE support.
HTC Flyer will come with a 5 megapixel camera with auto focus and 1.3 megapixel front camera. The 7-inch touch screen has 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 32GB internal storage and 1GB RAM.
Information on the prices of the product is still to come but hopefully it will come in Rs. 20,000-35,000 range
