Presidential Car – Mercedes Benz S600 Pullman Guard

When the elected President of India, Pranab Mukherjee, swearing in as the 13th President of India tomorrow everything changes around him. Being the first citizen of the country, President can enjoy many luxuries and one of them is the Presidential Mercedes Limo. This President’s wagon is crafted in Stuttgart, Germany. The cost of this luxurious car is Rs. 12 crore.

 

The President’s portion of the limousine is separated from the driver’s cabin by a sound-proof glass partition and the spacious passenger cabin has two rows of seats facing each other. This seating enables the President to hold meetings while travelling. The car is tested for protection against AK 47 and hand grenades of different make.

When the President steps into the Limo, he will leave his regular white Ambassador behind.
