Rajesh Khanna is admitted to Lilavati Hospital due to his poor health

Yesteryear superstar and Kaka of bollywood Rajesh Khanna has been admitted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai due to his poor health. There were rumors about his death on 21 June, 2012 in social networking sites and soon after that he made a public appearance in the balcony of his house along with his ex-wife Dimple Kapadia and his son-in-law and Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and waved at his fans make sure that he is keeping fine.

Who is Rajesh Khanna?

Rajesh Khanna is a bollywood actor, producer, and a politician. He is born on 29th December, 1942 in Amritsar, Punjab as Jatin Khanna. He is popularly known as Kaka in Bollywood. He debuted into film industry in 1966 with the movie Aakhri Khat and became the first superstar of Hindi cinema. He is the only superstar who has given 15 consecutive super hits in bollywood. He has acted in 180 films including few short films.

In 2008, we have seen him on small screen starring in a serial Raghukul Reet Sada Chali Aayi. In the same year, he has been awarded Dadasaheb Phalke Legend Golden Actor Award and in the next year he received the IIFA 2009 Life Time Achievement Award.

In early 90’s, he stopped acting and served a five-year tenure as an MP of New Delhi Constituency from 1991 to 1996. He made his last onscreen appearance for ad, Havell’s fan ad campaign called Havell’s Fans Forever, directed by the noted director of bollywood, R Balki.

Rajesh Khanna was married to bollywood actress Dimple Kapadia in 1973 and separated in 1984. They are having two kids, Twinkle Khanna and Dimple Khanna.

Rajesh khanna has died today morning at 11.30 at his Bandra home, Ashirvad. His funeral will be held tomorrow.
