Should we celebrate our Birthday?

My daughter used to ask me when is her next birthday and what will I be going to gift her. She already made a list of gifts for her forthcoming birthday, which falls on the 26-01-2010. I always felt so wonderful when i held her close to cut her birthday cake and while unwrapping her birthday gifts what she received.

I am sure some of the  people have fond memories of some of their birthdays they had  and the gifts they received. Unfortunately I never had a birthday to remember in particular. So I don’t want my daughter’s birthdays to be missed.

Why should we celebrate our birthday?

Some people don’t like social gathering but some love to party each and every special occasion in their life. Whether you like or not, when we cross one birthday, it is the time to thank God since that year is a gift from God. Birthday celebration is a moment of thanks giving  to the god for the gift of life. So we should never miss that special day and we should celebrate our each birthday.
