Some Very Important Features iPad is missing

iPad was one of the most discussed product till it was announced. Most of the people who were thinking of getting one should know that it misses some of the very needed features and you will not be comfortable using an iPad if you are thinking its something near to a notebook. I would say that this is just a bigger iPhone and I would not want a bigger iPhone, I am happy with the size of the iPhone and I don’t expect more from an iPhone. I wished if iPad had the following :-

Multi Tasking – I would want to write and email and keep my browser running , no I cannot do that. I have to close the email to open a browser or any other application.

Flash – No flash but HTML 5

Apple and Google are trying to get developers to use HTML5, to do all the things that Flash does, and in fact the Safari and Chrome browsers have good, fast implementations of HTML5.

According to iPhone World – With Flash being as unstable as it is, Adobe should be concerned that Apple may be at the beginning of a new way in which websites are built, which may be HTML5 instead of Flash, unless Adobe can fix their crashing problems. When so many browsers are crashing due to Flash, developers will begin looking for an alternative.

No Video Out – You cannot see any video out option. We may need to connect the iPad to bigger screen sometimes, but its not possible

Printing a Document from iPad – Sorry, that’s something Apple thought is not used by most of us, but I do need this

DVD Drive – Sorry, not there

USB Port – Sorry no, you cannot connect any device using USB port or not  even use your pen drive, very upsetting

No Camera – Don’t you expect to use your iPad to do Video Chatting?

It’s very upsetting to hear more about iPad. These are some of the very must have features and I won’t go for such product. If Apple decides to add the above, I am very much sure that iPad will be a boom. We need to wait and see, if they have made the announcement to get some feedback from the market and improve the device before they plan to release.
