Surface – New Tablet from Microsoft to compete iPad

iPad has been dominating the tablet market for some time now. Microsoft has been making tablet OS since 2002, but this is the first time they have got into making a tablet with their own operating system. Surface would be armed by Windows RT / Windows 8 Pro.

Will Microsoft be able to get into the level of competing with iPad? This question needs some time to be answered. iPad success is because of its strong hardware, stable iOS and tons of apps from the app store.

The size of this new gadget from Microsoft would be something similar to the new iPad, 9.3mm thick and about 1.5pounds in weight. When will this be available in the market? Could be very soon. Price – Something like the new iPad.
