Theemuge – Presidential Place in Maldives
Theemuge was the official residence of the president of the Maldives during the last 10 years of the presidency of Maumoon Abdul Gayoom. After President Nasheed was elected, he announced that he will not be staying at Theemuge, but to be used as Government offices.

Now Theemuge is lying vacant. The current President of Maldives, President Nasheed is staying at Muleeaage.
Hats off to Kishore. I worked in Maldives for about 10 years and crossed this building every single day for one or other reason but never ever got a chance to see a piece of the drapes inside this edifice. Not only me, i think the whole public in the Maldives.
