Three days permission for Anna Hazare’s indefinite fast
Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare got three days (72 hours) permission to hold his indefinite fast for a strong Lokpal. Anna has been granted permission to fast at Jai Prakash Narain Park near Firoz Shah Kotla Ground in Delhi. According to the sources, government will take action against Anna continues his fast beyond the given time of 72 hours. The indefinite fast is scheduled from 16 August, 2011.
The activists had earlier suggested four venues Boat Club, Rajghat, Ramlila Maidan and Shaheed Park near ITO other than Jantar Mantar and discussed the pros and cons of holding the fast there, but police had denied all these options and granted permission for JP park, and the team Anna agreed for the venue granted. In the mean time, Anna has started preparing for the fast. He has got himself admitted to Naresh Trehan run Medicity in Gurgaon. A panel of doctors is on job to assess his vital health statistics.
Anna is going to undertake an indefinite hunger strike demanding a strong Lokpal bringing senior judges, the PM’s Office and the conduct of MPs inside parliament under the armpit of Lokpal.
The Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram requested to call off his indefinite fast and said Anna’s fast is unjustified.
CD controvery is a blunder example how corrupted Congress party, Samajwadi Party and Amar Singh were trying to make fool to the people of India especially innocent people. We need to make a movement like Kahira (Misra) and Libya otherwise corruped cabnited ministers were looted our country. How other people will face those who are not well educated and experience in Indian Laws & Constitution. Thats why Congress is not interested to make hard rule.
p c’s request is also unjustified.govt should also give an unconditional undertaking that it will meet all the demands of anna team within three days .so that anna can also do the same .if govt plans to give permission only for three days for indefinite strike,and does meet all the demands within that time it should ultimately give its permission till govt meets all demands of anna team.govt has already lost its credibility on many an account.
