Unlikely Hero : Om Puri’s Biography

The biography of Om Puri, who is a very fine actor not only in Bollywood but International films also, which is written by his wife Nandita Puri.  She  is a Journalist by profession, who has just turned biographer for husband, Om Puri. While talking to the NDTV, she said she made a candid effort to narrate the important experiences of Om Puri which is important to his life honestly. In the biography, according to her, she wrote that he has been molested when he was 7-8 yrs old, he had a crush on a woman who came to work in his house whom he wants to get married, his sexual adventures, etc… According to the author, the book says the man behind the mask her- husband Om Puri. The book’s foreword is written by Patrick Swayze, who has acted with him in the “City of Joy”

Om Puri is a national award winner for best actor twice in the years 1982 and 1984.
