Velighandu Island Resort, Maldives

Last week my trip was to Velighandu Island Resort, a four star resort in the Maldives. The transfer was at 08:20 hours at the Maldivian Air Taxi counter. Myself and Stephen started from Male’, the capital of Maldives taking the 8:15 dhoni.
The resort had just re-opened after renovation. The complete island was renovated and still some work was going at the staff area. The resort was reopened to the guests only about a month back. I had been to the this resort couple of times and this was my first visit after renovation.

The beaches at Velighandu are beautiful. Velighandu Island resort has one of the best beaches in the Maldives and is famous for the sandbag. I will be traveling to One & Only Kanuhura, one of the best resort in Maldives on 25th Feb this month. I will be back with the pics and video’s of my visit.
