Wrestler turned Actor Dara Singh Passed away
The Iron Man of Bollywood, Dara Singh, passed away on Thursday morning at his Mumbai residence and his son Vindu Dara Singh announced his death. Earlier this month, he suffered a cardiac arrest and he was admitted in Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. There he underwent dialysis and put on ventilator. He was 84.
Dara Singh Randhawa is born to Balwant Singh and Surat Singh Randhawa on 19 November, 1928 in the Dharmuchak village of Amritsar district in Punjab. His other names are Rustam-E-Punjab and Rustam-E-Hind. He was a wrestler before making his movie debut in 1952. He was last seen in movie ‘Jab We Met’.
